Hope of future CIO

The first time when I read the brochure of master degree System Information in Binus University, i just read that the aim is to become the CIO in future. What is CIO? Is it a prospect career in future? Does it has challenging job in practice? And the last question is Am I going to make it as CIO?

Furthermore, I try to search in Mr Google about CIO in Indonesia. Oh gosh, i can count with my fingers about the number of CIOs in Indonesia. Beside, i am not familiar with management or business terms. Only know about technical things, especially core banking system on AS/400.

One thing that I know for sure that some of management leaders has convinced me that I am potential to become leader in future. This is one of the most influential factor as a turnaround in my career path.

Then I decide better to try rather than 'dreaming only' in my desk. The first thing that I have to do is to continue to school. After searching in several univ, I decide to go back to my lovely campus, Bina Nusantara University.

The journey begin by meet new friends and lecturer. It is such wonderful time to have relationship with them. Papers, presentation, books, exams and others are combined with my activity as IT professional in banking industry. So hectic and full of pressure but yet it is so fun and i love it so much.

This master degree emphasize us to become CIO in future. I will start my walk to go through it until I become CIO. It is the dream and I hope that God opens the way to it.

This blog is dedicated to capture all the paths that I have to go through until it is accomplished. Hope that the summarize of my lesson learnt will help other future CIO to learn from mine and make it with better way.
